Frequently Asked Questions revolving around trading. For all other topics, go to the Help section.
1. How do I become rare?
- Unfortunately, becoming rare takes a lot of luck as well as trading skills. You will need patience, and you will need to be on high alert for someone offering something so good.
You can:
- keep looking around BABW until an amazing offer comes up (e.g. someone is selling a Patriotic Girl outfit – this happened to me)
- receive rare items from someone who is quitting (but not many people give their items out anymore)
- receive rare items in an excellent trade (there are some people who trade old BVO for common PSIs, for instance)
- receive rare items from a friend (that's how two of my best friends got bunny)
2. What's fair for bunny/BBL/grand/furry/moose/etc.?
- The values of items change A LOT over time. Already information from the SUMMER is outdated. For general reference, old BVO (colorable) items such as EFTs, moose, and letterman jackets have shot up in value over the past six months.
- For better answers, ask this question about a SPECIFIC item in the Trading Help section.
3. HOW RARE IS MY EFT?!?!?!?!?!?!
- Default blue is the most common color, but some will say that default pink is.
- Default red is next up, and then there's white (thanks a lot girl who got hacked last summer and then got all her EFTs back from VWhelp, albeit white).
- Other default colors, with the exception of gray/silver, are next. Black falls into this category, too.
- Gray/silver and rarely-seen pastel colors are probably the most wanted and rarest EFTs.
4. HOW RARE IS MY BBL?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
- I'm not as good with BBL rareness, so this will cover the most common colors.
- White practically doesn't count as a BBL. Its rarity is much lower than all other BBL colors. You would probably be lucky to get furry with a white BBL.
- Default red is the most common BBL color, followed up by default blue and default dark blue.
- Black seems to be wanted even though it's quite common among BBL colors.
5. What's all this about bear codes?
- Someone found out how to make bear codes work multiple times a couple months ago. I won't be posting the trick here, but let's just say it made A LOT of things go down in wantedness.
- A ton of people got the all seasons PSI, for starters.
- The bouncy panda ride became the most popular ride on Bearville.
- Pink hands are no longer rare or wanted. Shame, since they used to be fair for the purple stegosaurus hat.
- The Puerto Rico cap is not as rare, either.
- EFTs, moose slippers, and letterman jackets (and probably a lot of old BVO) SHOT UP in value, as mentioned above, since they aren't PSIs.
- While I don't know if this has anything to do with the bear code trick, the orca hat has decreased in value, now being more common than furry.
